 Josh Cranson
professional fly fishing guide
Josh is a Colorado native who has been fly fishing since childhood. He began guiding in 2001 for Black Canyon Anglers as a rookie guide and is now considered one of the top veteran guides on the staff. Josh has a long list of repeat clientele and is well respected by both guests and guides alike. He is a strong oarsman and has taught many of the company's younger guides the art of whitewater boating over the years. After fly fishing, Josh's second love is archery hunting. In the fall, Josh can be found in the mountains of Colorado guiding bow hunters into big bull elk.
